★Weekly Wrap Up Meeting

A Fun Time ending with the word “Happy Friday!”

Here at Rakuten Adroll, we come together every week on Friday afternoon to have a ‘Wrap Up Meeting’, where all employees get a chance to connect each other.

We use this opportunity to exchange work and non-work information.

Drinks, fruits, and snacks are served at this weekly meeting, and we celebrate birthdays on a monthly basis with birthday cake!

  • Weekly Business Update
  • Weekly 5; Five minutes presentation
  • People; Introducing new employees
  • Praise/Recognition
  • Information Exchange (on anything!)
  • Birthday celebration

Weekly Business Update

Not only Rakuten AdRoll, but also our parent company, Nextroll Inc. and Rakuten Inc.’s business status is shared, and is an opportunity to see where our businesses are heading.

Win-Win opportunity; Weekly 5

In the ‘Weekly 5’, our goals are to improve presentation skills and to share information to different people of different departments, such as newly launched products, or latest information on the digital advertisement industry.  Therefore the situation makes a win-win for everyone. Presenting what you are working on gives you a chance to organize your work, also taking questions and answering is a good input/output opportunity.

We use mobile apps daily, complimenting each other regardless of scale, accepting each other, and showing each other that we are grateful for each other. Every week, we calculate the numbers and present them at the Wrap Up meeting.
